Student's in Youth Photographic Competition!

Our students from AS and A2 photo have been taking some stunning photographs all eager to win a competition backed by the Advertiser on the theme of 'My Life'. They include portraits, the student protests and street scenes - both in darkroom and digital.

The competition was launched in December by The Rotary Club of South Croydon and aimed at sixth-formers to create the perfect image to reflect their life.
The images are all on display now at The Clocktower Cafe Gallery in Katherine Street, Croydon until Wednesday 22nd June 2011. The winners are set to be announced on Thursday at the same venue, with the Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Avril Slipper, presenting the prizes. The prizes include a day out with a photographer from the Croydon Advertiser, a meal for two at the Chef's Restaurant at Croydon College and a gift voucher for Beaumont Wright Photography in Park Street, Croydon.
