Photography & Affect - Talks Series, March 2011



Can the experience of looking at photographs alter us emotionally and physically? Are there certain images that demand less of an intellectual, and more of a bodily, response? Can these images command the same weight as those that primarily engage our critical faculties?

Over the course of the next few evenings The Photographers Gallery will expand on, and challenge, various approaches to the concept of photographic affect.
